Artefact: A usually simple object (such as a tool or ornament) showing human workmanship or modification as distinguished from a natural object
About Daniel Victor: Great Oils and drawings showcasing nameless faces and ageless bodies while taking the viewer into the other side of the mirror. Rich images unfolding, inscribed in an unusual maze, offering us a glimpse into the Artist’s whimsical visions. An oeuvre nourished by a theatrical signature that exerts fascination with a broad audience of amateurs and collectors worldwide.
Baku's testimonial: Daniel Victor is a renowned painter and our mentor. If it wasn't for him, Baku wouldn't of happened. A few years ago he lent us the basement of his gallery for us to try our first resin experimentations. Artefact portrays an African Mask painted by Daniel Victor. He trusted us with this original oil painting. The result struck us. Artefact opened our eyes to the possibilities of collaborating with other artists. This piece turned out amazingly well. The abstraction fused with the mask and empowered the depth of its eyes. We accidently dropped propane in the epoxy on the top of the mask. The effect that resulted is quite surprising and nice.
